The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College with a final score of 16-7 this evening in Belmont, North Carolina. NGU kept the match competitive, trailing by just four goals at halftime with a score of 7-3 in favor of Belmont Abbey. However, the 3rd quarter saw Belmont Abbey pull away with five goals while shutting out North Greenville to lead 12-3 going into the 4th quarter. The Trailblazers were able to keep up with BAC in the 4th quarter as both teams scored four goals, allowing Belmont Abbey to end the evening with a nine-goal win. North Greenville finished the game with a total of sixteen shots and eight saves.
