Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers secured their second win of the season in convincing fashion with a 19-7 victory over the Saints of Thomas More University this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium. NGU ran away with the game early on, leading 6-1 at the end of the 1st quarter. Thomas More would get things going in the 2nd quarter, but North Greenville would lead the quarter in goals by one to take an 11-5 lead into halftime. The Trailblazers ended any doubt in the 3rd quarter, adding to their lead with seven goals while shutting out the Saints in the half. A low-scoring 4th quarter resulted in TMU leading the quarter 2-1, but the Trailblazers would easily hang on for the one-sided victory.
Kami Straub put together an impressive day, finishing with 5 goals, 3 draw controls, an assist, a caused turnover, and a ground ball.
