North Greenville began the 2020 season with a 14-8 loss to the 13th ranked Saints of Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. NGU took an early lead, but Limestone would take over and pull away for the remainder of the match. Brenis Napoli began her season strong with 3 goals.

Just under four minutes into the match, the Crusaders were the first to get on the board when Rachel Kellogg scored an unassisted goal. Limestone would respond with two straight goals, but NGU would then fight back to score two goals of their own by Maegan Easler and Dani O'Meara. The Saints would control the remainder of the first half, scoring the final four goals to lead 6-3 at halftime. 

After an early goal by Limestone to start the second half, North Greenville would get some momentum going with three of the next four goals including two consecutive by Brenis Napoli. The Saints would take the momentum back, however, with six of the next seven goals. NGU closed out the game with a goal by Napoli. 

The Crusaders will travel to Wingate, North Carolina on Tuesday, February 11th to take on the Wingate Bulldogs.
