Trey Cauthan began his coaching career as a graduate assistant in 2025-2026 with the North Greenville University men’s and women’s golf programs after a four-year playing career with the Trailblazers. His passion for the game and commitment to NGU golf have made him a valuable presence, helping develop student-athletes through discipline, Christ-like character, and a drive to compete at the next level.

A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Trey graduated from Southside Christian School, where he was a standout on the golf team. He led SCS to a state championship in 2021 while also capturing the individual title.

Trey brings more than a decade of competitive golf experience, along with involvement in instructional camps, continuing to build his foundation in player development.

Off the course, Trey is pursuing his MBA at North Greenville University and serves as an assistant in the pro shop at The Cliffs at Glassy, where he continues to expand his knowledge of the game.
