Casey Stewart is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and also holds a USA Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1 certification. A two-time North Greenville University alumnus, Stewart earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2017 and his Master of Education in 2019.
As a student-athlete, Stewart was a four-year starter on the Crusaders football team, playing in 44 career games. He helped lead North Greenville to a Victory Bowl championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, including a quarterfinal appearance in 2016. During his career, he was named a team captain, Lineman of the Year, and Offensive Player of the Year.
Stewart began his coaching career in 2020 at Furman University, serving as a volunteer strength and conditioning coach working with multiple sports. Later that year, he joined Lenoir-Rhyne University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He then moved to Reinhardt University, where he served as the Director of Strength and Conditioning, primarily overseeing the football and baseball programs. During his tenure, the Eagles football team captured the Mid-South Conference Championship in the spring of 2021.
Stewart returned to North Greenville as the Director of Strength and Conditioning in 2021 after previously serving the program as a graduate assistant and position coach. During his earlier time on staff, he worked with the tight ends.
