Casey Burr comes to Tigerville from Furman University where he graduated with a degree in Economics in 2025. During his time as a student-athlete, Burr earned Southern Conference championships as a part of Furman’s cross country team and DMR team. He also achieved a Southern Conference runner-up finish in the steeplechase.
Coach Burr has a passion for athletics and looks to continue the tradition of excellence that has been established at North Greenville University. Coach Burr was hired as the full-time assistant cross country and track and field coach in December of 2025.
He is currently continuing his education at Furman University, pursuing a master’s degree in Innovation and Leadership, further strengthening his commitment to athlete development, leadership, and team culture. He was born and raised in Greenville, SC, and is an alumni of Wade Hampton High School.
