Tony Ashmore

Tony Ashmore enters his first season with North Greenville after spending the four seasons in the high school ranks. Head coach Jeff Farrington brought on Ashmore in the summer of 2016 as the team’s running backs coach, following three seasons at Woodmont High School and one at Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville.

Ashmore, a North Greenville Alumnus, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from NGU, graduating in 2007. The newest member of the NGU coaching staff also played for the Crusaders from 2003-2007, playing both tailback and outside linebacker for coach Mike Taylor, starting at both positions.

The Duncan, South Carolina native attended Byrnes High School and was part of NGU’s 2006 Victory Bowl Championship, the first such victory in program history. Ashmore and his wife Isia Belin-Ashmore have three daughters and currently reside in Spartanburg.
