North Greenville University

Joe Novotasky enters his third year with North Greenville after spending several years in the high school ranks, coaching the defensive line at Riverside High School in Greer, South Carolina. Novotasky is a graduate of NGU, earning both his sport management degree, as well as his master’s in business administration. The three-year starter was part of NGU’s Victory Bowl team in 2006.

Novotasky moved directly into coaching after his graduation in 2010, assuming the role of graduate assistant under second-year head coach Jamey Chadwell. Novotasky spent two seasons with NGU as a coach, helping the team to another Victory Bowl title, as well as an appearance in NGU’s only trip to the NCAA Division II playoffs where NGU advanced to the quarterfinals. Novotasky currently resides in Greer and will resume his role of coaching the defensive line at North Greenville.
