Jireh Wilson will enter the 2021 season as the team's outside linebackers coach following a year as a graduate assistant with the program working with the team's defensive backs.
“Jireh is moving into a role with our program I believe he is prepared and mature to handle for Coach Duncan and our staff – he is ready and very knowledgeable with the Outside Linebacker position and our scheme.”
Wilson came to Tigerville in 2020 after wrapping up his playing career with the Wofford Terriers. He played in 52 games with 29 starts at linebacker and recorded 196 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two interceptions. He was a SoCon All-Conference First Team selection as well as a Southern Conference All-Freshman Nod.
