Casey Stewart returns to NGU in 2021 as the head of strength and conditioning for NGU football, previously serving as a position coach and graduate assistant with the program two years prior. Stewart worked with NGU's tight-ends during his time on staff. 

Prior to returning to Tigerville, Stewart worked at Reinhardt University as the Director of Strength & Conditioning, working primarily with the baseball and football programs. During his time Reinhardt, the Eagles football program won the Mid-South Conference Championship during the Spring of 2021. Casey Stewart got his first opportunity in strength and conditioning as an intern with Andre Bernardi at Furman University, starting in January of 2019.

With the Paladins, Stewart gained experience working with multiple teams including track & field, lacrosse, golf, and  tennis. His next stop included a stint at Lenoir-Rhyne where he was the Assistant Strength & Conditioning coach with the Bears for several months before heading to Reinhardt in September of 2020. During this time he gained national certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. 

Casey Stewart is a two-time North Greenville Alum, earning his Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2017 and a Masters in Education in 2019. He was a four-year starter for the Crusader football team, helping NGU to a Victory Bowl title and a trip to the NCAA Division II Playoffs and a quarterfinal appearance in 2016. Stewart played in 44-games for North Greenville and was voted a team captain, the Lineman of the Year, and Offensive Player of the year.
