Hunter Dilworth

Hunter Dilworth is in his third year on the coaching staff at North Greenville. He played his first two seasons at USC Salkehatchie as a shortstop and pitcher before transferring to NGU for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. He was a major figure in the turn around of the North Greenville program when Landon Powell took over in 2015. He was the ace of the staff during these years while also contributing with his bat and defense. Following his collegiate career he continued for a year overseas playing professionally in Australia.

Dilworth will take on more responsibilities this year as he will be in his first year as the pitching coach for the Crusaders. He will also continue to work with infielders and assist with coordinating camps. He was versatile as a player and is also versatile as a coach as he has many traits that help him assist in many areas within the team.

Dilworth’s last career at bat at North Greenville was a walkoff sacrifice fly to deep right field vs rival Mount Olive in the bottom of the 16th inning followed by being the winning pitcher in the second game of the series the next day.

He graduated from Easley High School in 2011 and earned a degree in Sport Management.
