Biography

Sophomore Year: Saw action in all seventeen games, one of the team’s top ground balls and caused turnovers; Collecting 53 ground balls, 36 draw controls and 27 caused turnovers. One of the first ever All Conference Selections in program history. Named Team Heart and Hustle Award.

Freshman Year: Saw action in all twelve games, collecting 14 ground balls. Named Team Defensive Player of the Year.

High School: Petit was a multiple athlete garnishing several distinctions; three-time All-Conference Selection in basketball and volleyball. Female Athlete of the Year in 2013. Rookie of the Year for her volleyball squad in 2014. Times News Player of the Week in women’s basketball. 3-time team captain in volleyball and basketball. Petit excelled outside of athletics as well as the Student Body President in 2014 and being named a County Scholar in 2013 and 2014.
