2018: Played in eight games and recorded six total tackles including three solo and three assisted stops. 

High School: Played for Eric Morman at North Mecklenburg High School. Was a two-time All-Conference Linebacker for the Vikings and was also an All-County winner. Was twice named the Most Valuable Player for the defense. 

Personal: Born Dantevian Byrd and is the son of Kenyatla and David Rodgers. From Charlotte, North Carolina.
