Tigerville - The North Greenville University women's tennis team earned a hard-fought 4–3 victory over UVA Wise at the Vance Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon. The Trailblazers improved to 3–3 on the season, while the Cavaliers moved to 3–3with the closely contested match.

• No. 1 Kenzy Abdelaal / Melissa Lino (UVA Wise) def. Adriana Flores / Andjela Mrvaljevic (NGU) — 7–6
• No. 2 Abigail Watson / Julia Machado (NGU) def. Laura Garcia / S. Nilaweera (UVA Wise) — 6–3
• No. 3 Garcia / Abdelaal (UVA Wise) def. Juliana Figueroa / Maria Hernandez (NGU) — 6–4

• Julia Machado pulled North Greenville even with a strong No. 2 singles win (6–2, 6–3), and Adriana Floresfollowed with a 6–2, 6–0 triumph at No. 3 singles to give NGU the lead.
• At No. 4 singles, Andjela Mrvaljevic secured a key 6–3, 6–2 victory to extend the Trailblazers' advantage.
• Juliana Figueroa clinched the match at No. 6 singles, winning in straight sets (6–3, 6–2) to seal the team's narrow edge.
