Harrogate, TN – North Greenville was left searching for its first win f the season after falling to Lincoln Memorial 16 – 7 in non-conference action. 
 
The Trailblazers jumped out to a 2 – goal lead, their first advantage of the season. Mary Regan scored the first goal of the game while Ava Walls tacked on a second score to make it 2 – 0. The lead quickly vanished though and turned in to a deficit as the Railsplitters rallied to score six unanswered goals including four goals in the second period to put NGU down 6 – 2. 
 
NGU battled back however, answering with three unanswered goals of their own. Josie Rose scored her first of the game while Kami Straub scored her first two of the season to cut the LMU lead to just one goal. The Trailblazer offense fell silent in the second half however scoring just two goals. LMU would take advantage of the lull, scoring 10 – goals including a game high six in the third period. 
 
Walls and Straub led NGU with two goals each. Sydney Spellman finished with eight saves.
