Tigerville - North Greenville University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is inviting fans to give back to the community during this week's home athletic events by participating in a canned food drive.

Fans attending the North Greenville football game against Shorter University at 2 p.m. can receive free admission as every five cans donated gets one free ticket.

Fans that attend North Greenville's volleyball matches this weekend can also receive free admission with every two cans earning a complimentary ticket. The Trailblazers host UNC Pembroke on Friday night and Erskine on Saturday evening.

Canned food will also be collected at Wednesday night's men's and women's soccer games and can be dropped off at the concessions stand.

Cans and food collected will go to help Greer Soup Kitchen and Greer Community Ministries.
