Tigerville – North Greenville tennis coach
Michelle Tease has completed the ITA's CoachUp credential program which launched in June 2022 as part of the ITA's coach education offerings.
Coach Up is intended to deepen college tennis coaches mastery of the key fundamentals of being a successful head coach. It is an intensive, seven-month course that covers topics including Self-Mastery, Coaching Gen Z. Recruiting, building a Championship Culture and Empowering Your Program using Key Stakeholders.
Entry to the program is widely competitive with only 45 – coaches selected to complete the course.
"We had a large selection of coaches apply to CoachUp and this is a testament to her commitment to excellence in coaching and developing student-athletes," remarked Dave Mullins, the Chief Executive Officer of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. "I would be grateful if you would join me in congratulating Michelle. She is a credit to our sport. As I am sure she is to your institution."
The announcement comes just in time for the 2026 season for North Greenville which opens this weekend at Furman for the men's team with the women's first match scheduled for February 10
th against Mars Hill.
