NGU Unable to Recover From Two Goal Deficit, Falls to Mount Olive

The North Greenville Trailblazers faced a two-goal deficit within the first thirteen minutes of the match, ultimately falling to the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive with a final score of 2-1 in Mount Olive, North Carolina. UMO would get on the board early, scoring a goal in just the 6th minute of the match. The Trojans would score again in the 13th minute to record an early 2-0 lead. North Greenville went on to lead the half in total shots 6-5, but would face a two-goal deficit at halftime. The Trailblazers turned aggressive in the second half, posting 14 shots, one of them resulting in a goal by Enrico Onzi with an assist by Noham Hamidi. However, NGU would be unable to find the back of the net a second time as time would expire with the Trojans hanging on for the win. 

Enrico Onzi posted a goal and 3 total shots with 2 on goal. Noham Hamidi recorded an assist as well as 3 shots with 1 on goal. Jacob Marino also finished with 3 shots.

North Greenville will face the Valkyries of Converse University on Wednesday, October 1st in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
