The North Greenville Trailblazers dominated the afternoon in Central, South Carolina with an 18-5 victory over the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University. NGU scored the opening two goals before SWU responded with two goals of their own. From there, the Trailblazers would completely dominate the remainder of the first half, scoring the final four goals of the 1st quarter. North Greenville would shutout the Warriors in the 2nd quarter while dominating offensively with eight goals to take a 14-2 lead into halftime. Southern Wesleyan ended their scoreless drought early on in the 3rd quarter with two goals. However, NGU would end the afternoon by scoring four of the final five goals to end things with a thirteen point win.
Kami Straub added to her dominant season with three goals and an assist while also providing five ground balls, four caused turnovers, and two draw controls.
Kylie Keen finished with three goals and an assist in addition to three draw controls and a caused turnover.
Lauren Crane and
Aubree Mayse also posted three goals.
North Greenville will face the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College on Saturday, April 12th in Young Harris, Georgia.
