The North Greenville Trailblazers fell to 40-10 for the season with a 4-2 loss to the Nighthawks of the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia.
Brady Price took the mound for the start, but would run into some trouble in the 1st as the Nighthawks put up two runs as a result of a home run. UNG would score two more in the 4th with another two-run home run. North Greenville would get on the board in the 5th with an RBI by
Brett Blomquist as well as an RBI by
Josh Foulks. However, the scoring would conclude there as the final four innings would ultimately go scoreless.
Brady Price took the loss while
Connor Brinson,
Kadan Roach, and
Matthew Taubensee made scoreless appearances in relief.
Brett Blomquist recorded an RBI and reached base twice the hard way, getting hit by two pitches.
Kadan Roach pitched 2.0 scoreless innings in relief, allowing just a walk while recording a strikeout.
Josh Foulks posted an RBI.
NGU will return to action on Friday, April 25th against the Warriors of Southern Wesleyan University at Ray & Bea Dillard Field.
