Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers made program history this afternoon at Pepsi Stadium by clinching its first ever Conference Carolinas regular season championship in a one-sided 19-8 victory over the Bulldogs of Barton College. After a competitive 1st quarter that resulted in a 3-2 lead, NGU pulled away throughout the 2nd quarter, scoring seven goals while shutting out the Bulldogs to take a 10-2 lead into halftime. The 3rd quarter proved to be a competitive one as the two teams would both score five goals. However, the Trailblazers once again pulled away in the 4th quarter, scoring four goals while holding Barton to just one. With the win, North Greenville improved its overall record to 9-5 with a perfect 6-0 record in conference play. The Trailblazers finished the afternoon with fifty-two shots, thirty-three of those on goal. NGU also led the afternoon in ground balls, finishing with thirty-seven. Face offs also went NGU's way as they led the category 21-10.

North Greenville will wrap up the regular season on Friday, April 18th against the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina.
