Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Trailblazers put together a fourth quarter comeback to defeat the Valkyries of Converse University with a final score of 14-13 at Pepsi Stadium. A closely-contested game saw neither team lead or trail by more than two goals. The two teams would score four goals each in the 1st quarter, then would slow down in the 2nd quarter, with both teams scoring two goals to take a 6-6 tie into halftime. Converse would take a two goal lead by scoring the first two goals of the 3rd quarter. However, North Greenville would recover by scoring two goals of their own to tie the game once again. The Valkyries would take the momentum back over with three of the next four goals to lead by two early on in the 4th quarter. From there, NGU would take over the momentum, scoring five of the next six goals to lead by two. A late goal by Converse would cut the NGU lead to one, and after a draw control, the Valkyries would put a scare into NGU with an opportunity for a last-second shot. However, Converse was unable to connect on the pass as time would expire with North Greenville hanging on for the win.

Isabella Ortiz posted three goals, three draw controls, and a ground ball.
