After falling to the Bucs of Barry University on Monday, NGU responded by defeating the Bucs tonight in Miami Shores, Florida with a score of 3-1. North Greenville took the opening two sets with scores of 25-21 and 25-18. Barry was able to narrowly take set three with a score of 25-23, but the Trailblazers would still end the match early by taking set four with a score of 25-20. NGU finished the match with a .267 attack percentage while leading the way in kills, service aces, assists, and digs.The win improved North Greenville's record to 6-8 overall as they head back to South Carolina.
Michael de la Cruz finished with fourteen kills, seven block assists, five digs, a service ace, and an assist.
Logan Keothavy posted fourteen kills, four digs, three block assists, two service aces, and an assist.
Thomas Roper recorded twelve kills, eight digs, and two assists.
