The North Greenville Trailblazers completed an upset of the Emmanuel Lions, winning with a final score of 54-45 in Rome, Georgia to advance to the second round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. NGU put up a strong fight from the very start of the game, trailing by just one point in the 1st quarter then outscoring Emmanuel in the remaining three quarters including a two point lead at halftime. NGU finished the night leading in field goal percentage, finishing with a .429 percentage for the game. NGU impressed from behind the arc, making nine of seventeen shots from three-point territory. Although the Trailblazers trailed in offensive rebounds, they would lead in total rebounds by five, finishing with thirty.
