North Greenville Swept by King

Maddie Stone went 2 – 2 in game one while Ansley Fowler was 2 – 3 with a run scored. Ali Hartin finished 1 – 1 with a run.

NGU trailed 6 – 3 heading in to the seventh inning. The Trailblazers scored a run in the first inning and one more in each of the fourth and fifth innings but the Tornado had built a three run lead with three runs in the third and fifth frames. The Trailblazers had some lat inning magic left in their bats however. Three RBI base hits for North Greenville led to three runs as North Greenville was able to even the tally at 6 – 6. Blackwell, Green, and Stone all contributed to NGU's best inning of the day.

The Tornado would come up with the big hits in extra innings however scoring three runs in the top of the eighth inning. They got some help from NGU scoring a third run on a North Greenville throwing error. NGU hit the ball hard in the bottom of the eighth inning but were only able to muster one run on a Sacrifice fly from Lexi Metcalf.

Emily Blackwell and Karley Green were both 3 – 4 in game two. Blackwell scored a pair of runs and had an RBI. Maddie Stone finished 2 – 4 with an RBI.
