The North Greenville Trailblazers fell short in Melbourne, Florida by falling to the Panthers of Florida Tech with a final score of 14-9. The first two quarters proved to be very competitive as the two teams ended both quarters tied, going into halftime with a score of 5-5. However, the Panthers would take over the momentum in the 3rd quarter, scoring five straight to lead 10-5. NGU would score two of the next three to close the deficit to four, but Florida Tech would respond by scoring three of the final five goals to secure the win by five goals. North Greenville trailed in total shots 35-29 as well as ground balls 33-22. Turnovers proved to be an issue as well as twenty-nine were committed. However, NGU did lead the day in faceoffs, winning sixteen of twenty-six.
Caden Castle tied a program single-game record, scoring seven goals. He also caused a turnovers and posted fifteen total shots.
