Box Score TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The North Greenville University men's tennis team delivered a strong performance on Monday, defeating Newberry College in a competitive match that featured several hard-fought singles and doubles battles. The Trailblazers swept the doubles contests and earned three singles victories to secure the team win to wrap up the Fall calendar.
In doubles play, North Greenville came out strong, sweeping all three courts to claim the early advantage. The pairing of Louie Fletcher and Juan Areblaez picked up a 6–3 win on court one, while Will Hernandez and David Roseler earned a 6–2 victory on court two. Pavle Markus and Gabriel Pegoraro completed the sweep with a 6–1 decision on court three.
The Trailblazers carried that momentum into singles play. Fletcher continued his strong day with a dominant 6–0, 6–1 win over Martin Posada Garcia, while Roseler battled through a three-set thriller to defeat Sohei Kamiyama 7–6(5), 4–6, 6–3. Areblaez added another point for NGU, winning 6–3, 6–1 against Lucas Mruk.
Gabriel Pegoraro fell in a tight three-set match to Daniel Watson (7–6, 3–6, 5–7), and Will Hernandez came up just short against Senthen Reddy (6–2, 2–6, 4–6). Pavle Markus dropped his match to Noel Bartz(2–6, 1–6).
