Tigerville - North Greenville's first head - to - head match of the season was a success as the Trailblazers eanred a 5 - 2 win over Emmanuel College.
In doubles action, Emmanuel took two of the three matches. At No. 1 doubles, Tawana Senah and Anna Goncalvesedged out Abigail Watson and Andjela Mrvaljevic of NGU 7–5. At No. 2 doubles, Franziska Wolter and Anhelina Zmushko secured a 6–2 win over Julia Machado and Juliana Figueroa. NGU picked up a win at No. 3 doubles by forfeit, as Mya Tease and Megan Turner were awarded the victory.
The Trailblazers dominated in singles play, winning five of the six courts. At No. 1 singles, Abigail Watson cruised past Tawana Senah 6–1, 6–4. Andjela Mrvaljevic followed with a decisive 6–0, 6–1 win over Anna Goncalves at the No. 2 spot.
In a back-and-forth battle at No. 3 singles, Julia Machado outlasted Anhelina Zmushko in a three-set thriller, 6–2, 4–6, 12–10. At No. 4 singles, Franziska Wolter of Emmanuel earned her team's lone singles win, topping Mya Tease 6–2, 6–7, 10–5.
NGU's Juliana Figueroa earned a 6–1, 6–4 victory at No. 5 singles, while Megan Turner picked up another point at No. 6 singles by forfeit.
