North Greenville men's lacrosse fell to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders with a score of 24-13 in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament in Wilson, North Carolina. The loss ends NGU's 2024 season with an overall record of 10-8. After Belmont Abbey scored the first goal of the evening to get on the board, NGU's Alex Brooks responded with a goal of his own. However, BAC would dominate the remainder of the 1st quarter, scoring seven goals in a row to lead 8-1 with North Greenville ending the quarter with a goal by Christian Cechini to make the score 8-2 going in to the 2nd. The two teams would alternate goals throughout the first few minutes of the quarter, but Belmont Abbey would carry the momentum eventually, going on a 5-1 run. NGU would score the final two goals of the half as BAC would take a 15-8 lead into halftime. After a competitive start to the 3rd quarter, Belmont Abbey would ultimately go on to pull away further in the 3rd quarter, leading by ten as the quarter came to an end. NGU closed out the 4th quarter with two of the final three goals, but Belmont Abbey would hang on for an eleven point win to advance to the championship.

Yates Miller ended his season with 4 goals and a ground ball. Alex Brooks posted 2 goals as well as a ground ball. Hayden Moffat also recorded 2 goals.
