The North Greenville Crusaders attempted a comeback after falling behind in the first two sets, but ultimately came up short in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders this evening in North Charleston, South Carolina. Belmont Abbey pulled ahead early on, taking set one 25-21 and set two 25-20. However, NGU was able to bounce back by taking set three with a score of 25-21. BAC held a small lead early on in set four, but North Greenville recovered to lead by as much as two with a score of 13-11. However, a 7-1 run by Belmont Abbey proved to be too much to recover from. NGU pulled back within two, but BAC would hang on to take the set by two points.
Mark Autry wrapped up his NGU career with 17 kills, 4 digs, and a block assist.
Diego Rosich finished with a double-double, 13 kills and 10 digs as well as 2 block assists and a service ace.
Logan Taylor posted 45 assists, 9 digs, a service ace, and a block assist.
