Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put together a successful senior day with a 20-13 victory against the Mountain Lions of Young Harris College at Pepsi Stadium. With the win, NGU ends their regular season with a 9-7 overall record with a 5-2 record in conference play. The 1st quarter proved to be competitive as an early 3-1 lead was responded with a 5-1 run by YHC to take a 6-4 lead into the 2nd quarter. Defense handled the majority of the quarter for both teams as only four goals would be scored. However, three of those four would be scored by the Crusaders, who would take an 8-7 lead into halftime. North Greenville would put together a 5-1 run of their own to begin the 3rd quarter. Young Harris would get their offense going eventually, but only to close the deficit to three goals as the Crusaders led 14-11 at the end of the quarter. After the Mountain Lions took the opening goal of the 4th, NGU would take over from there, finishing the game with six of the final seven goals. Defense would handle the final five minutes of the game to preserve a seven goal victory for North Greenville.

Gabe Nelson collected 11 saves and received the win at goalie for the Crusaders.
NGU will return to action in the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Tuesday, April 23rd against the Hawks of Chowan University in a quarterfinal matchup at Pepsi Stadium.
