Spartanburg – North Greenville Women's Golf won the program's first ever Conference Carolinas Championship on Tuesday afternoon while
Nicole Kramer earned the Individual Conference Carolinas Championship after three – rounds at the Carolina Country Club.
The Crusaders scratched out a 17– stroke victory over the three trips around this week, shooting a team total of 930. The eventual champions carded combined scores of 302, 321, and 307. King University finished second with a total of 947 while Converse rounded out the top three with a 956.
Nicole Kramer (74-76-74) battled back in the final round to force a playoff against Mara Martinez of Emmanuel (72-75-77) with both ending their efforts with a three-round score of 224. Kramer captured the individual title with a win in the playoff.
Brenna Miller finished sixth overall and was second on the team for North Greenville with scores of 73-79-78. She finished the tournament with a three – round total of 230.
Aubrey Merryman finished in a tie for 18
th shooting a total of 243 (80-84-79).
Caroline Whitt (75-83-86) finished with a total of 244 and finished 21
st overall.
