Tigerville – North Greenville won its first game of the season on Friday morning with a 5 – 1 win over Chowan in Conference Carolinas play.
The Crusaders won the doubles point with a sweep.
Grace Leah Katzman and
Kyla Steyn won 6 – 2 while
Abigail Watson and
Vitoria Maximiliano won 6 – 2 as well.
Katzman carried the momentum over in to singles play winning 6 – 4, 10 – 6 after dropping the opening frame 4 – 6.
Vitoria Maximiliano and
Kyla Steyn both swept their singles matches. Maximiliano won 6 – 1, 6 – 2 while Steyn was dominant with a 6 – 0, 6 – 0 win.
