Banner Elk, N.C. – Four players scored in double-figures on Saturday as North Greenville beats Lees-McRae 80 – 72.
In a game that saw a pair of ties and seven lead changes North Greenville took control late in the third quarter and never trailed the final 10 – minutes of play. The Crusaders led by as many as 11 – points in the final frame.
NGU turned 13 – turnovers in 16 – points and dominated in the paint scoring 48 of the 80 in the lane. The Crusaders also delivered 27 fast break points. The win over the Bobcats ensures North Greenville's best finishing record since the 2012 season.
Greyson Boone led the Crusaders in scoring with 18 – points with 10 – rebounds.
Tabitha Littlefield added 17 – points of her own.
Geassy Germano scored 14 – points while
Abi Oates added 10.
