St. Augustine, FL – North Greenville finished 12
th in its first tournament of the season this week, shooting a combined 971 through three rounds on Monday and Tuesday at the Lincoln Memorial Spring Kickoff.
Shot a 334 in round one but shaved off 17 – shots in the second round to shoot a 317. The Crusaders finished the tournament with a 320 as a team. Lander University claimed the tournament title while Wingate and Carson Newman finished second and third.
Brenna Miller led North Greenville individually as she finished the week with a three – round total of 234. Miller shot a 78, 77, and 79. Miller finished the tournament tied for 23
rd.
Nicole Kramer finished in a tie for 35
th with a tournament total 239. Kramer shot an 83 to open the tournament but improved seven strokes in round two and finished the showing with an 80.
Caroline Whitt finished tied for 53
rd while
Mattie Padgett wrapped up the tournament in a tie for 78
th. Whitt Shot an 84 in the first two rounds and improved eight strokes in the final round to shoot a total of 244. Padgett finished with a 19 – over in the first round but was NGU's biggest mover from rounds 1 to 2. Padgett improved 10 – strokes in round two to shoot an 82. She finished with an 86 to finish the tournament with a 257.
Kaitlyn Hagler finished in 80
th shooting an 89, 83, and an 88.

North Greenville will head to the coast for the Battle of Hilton Head on February 19
th.
