Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders put together a dominant night of offense as a .509 field goal percentage with a .750 percentage from behind the perimeter led to a 79-62 victory over the Lions of Emmanuel College this evening at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU dominated from the start, outscoring the Lions 26-18 in the first quarter. NGU went on to outscore Emmanuel in all but the 2nd quarter and finishing the night with a seventeen point victory. North Greenville was perfect from behind the perimeter in the first half. Points off turnovers proved to be an important factor as twenty-one turnovers by the Lions led to thirty-five points off turnovers for the Crusaders.
Amaijah Smith put together a dominant night, scoring 22 points and also providing 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal.
Greyson Boone posted 18 points along with 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
Abi Oates was also solid, scoring 12 points and providing 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
NGU will return to action on Thursday, February 15th against the Patriots of Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina.
