The North Greenville Trailblazers were victorious for the first time this season, defeating the Trojans of the University of Mount Olive with a final score of 56-49 in Mount Olive, North Carolina. NGU started off the game cold from the field, making just two of fifteen field goals in the first half to trail by five. However, the Trailblazers bounced back to outscore the Trojans in the remaining three quarters and finished with a .316 field goal percentage. Mount Olive struggled from the field overall, posting a .318 percentage from the field. Points off turnovers proved to be the story of the game as NGU was able to turn twenty-six turnovers by Mount Olive into twenty points. Fourteen turnovers by the Trailblazers resulted in just seven points for UMO. North Greenville also led the way in fast break points 11-4.

Amaijah Smith put together an impressive performance, finishing with seventeen points, six assists, five steals, and two rebounds. Ja'Mari Frederick also contributed in multiple categories, posting fourteen points, seven rebounds, four steals, two assists, and a block. Austin Johnson recorded nine points, six rebounds, and an assist.

NGU will return to action on Saturday, December 7th against the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina.
