The 2023 North Greenville women's soccer program placed second in the 2023 Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll while also receiving four first place votes. NGU trails only UNC Pembroke, who placed first in the poll with nine first place votes. The two programs faced each other in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship in 2022, with the Braves taking the match with a final score of 3-1.

The conference office officially unveiled the preseason poll on Aug. 24. The preseason poll was voted on by the league's head coaches.

NGU will get their 2023 season started this afternoon on the road as they take on the Eagles of Carson-Newman University in Johnson City, North Carolina.
