Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders completed a come from behind victory in a thrilling game that went into overtime with a final score of 12-11 against the Bulldogs of Barton College. NGU trailed for the majority of the game and trailed by as much as four. However, after scoring the final three goals of the first half, NGU would score two of the first three goals in the second half to even up the score. Late in the third, Barton would score a goal to reclaim the lead, and maintained it until just under a minute and a half remaining in regulation when
Dani O'Meara scored a free position goal to even things up yet again. Overtime would ultimately be needed, but NGU made quick work of things as
Emma Mayew quickly went on to score the winning goal right out of a timeout. With the win, NGU now holds sole possession of second place in the Conference Carolinas standings.
