The 2023 season for the North Greenville Crusaders came to an end this afternoon in Duncan, South Carolina as NGU fell to the UNC Pembroke Braves with a final score of 7-6, which eliminated the Crusaders from the Conference Carolinas Tournament. Both teams began the game with a run in the first inning, and after the Braves took the lead with three runs in the second, NGU claimed the lead for themselves with a five run bottom of the third including a two run home run by 
Virginia Bishop. Starting pitcher 
Karley Green would handle the Braves in the fourth and fifth innings, but UNCP would break through to take the lead back in the top of the sixth with three runs. The Crusaders were unable to get a runner on base in the final two innings as the Braves were able to hang on for the win. With the loss, NGU's season comes to an end with an overall record of 26-24.
