The 2023 season came to an end earlier this afternoon in Wilson, North Carolina as the North Greenville Crusaders fell to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders with a final score of 21-8. North Greenville scored the opening goal of the game, but that lead would prove to be NGU's only one of the game as Belmont Abbey would take over from there, scoring five in a row and outscoring NGU in all four quarters. Turnovers proved to be costly as North Greenville nearly doubled Belmont Abbey in turnover count. On a positive note, of North Greenville's twenty total shots, fifteen were on goal while
Ainsley Woodham provided thirteen saves. The two teams also finished even in draw controls with sixteen. With the season complete, NGU finishes with an overall record of 10-7 and a winning percentage of .588, the second-highest in program history.
