North Greenville took care of business this evening in Belmont, North Carolina to defeat the Belmont Abbey Crusaders with a final score of 3-1. The Crusaders started things off with a dominating set one, posting a .500 attack percentage and winning 25-12. However, BAC would recover in the second set, taking it 25-22. From there, NGU would take back the momentum with a good performance in set three while Belmont Abbey struggled with a .057 hitting percentage. North Greenville would go on to take the set 25-18. Both teams saw success in a competitive set three, but it would be North Greenville who would come out in front with a score of 25-21. With the regular season now complete, NGU takes the regular season championship as well as the number one seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tournament.
