North Greenville Rallies Late; Holds off Senators for First Win

Tigerville – North Greenville fended off a second half comeback and scored late in the fourth quarter to down Davis & Elkins 11 – 6 for the first win of the season. 
 
The Crusaders held the Senators scoreless in the first half while tacking on six goals. North Greenville scored five of those goals in the second quarter. Davis & Elkins scored four unanswered goals including three straight to open the fourth quarter. The goals trimmed North Greenville's lead to just one at 7 – 6.  The Crusaders answered the challenge in a big way, scoring the next four. Dani O'Meara scored a pair in that seven minute stretch as NGU padded the lead en route to the non-conference win.
