Tigerville – North Greenville was unable to keep up with a high-powered Limestone attack that fired off 60 – shots in a 23 – 10 loss to the ninth ranked Saints, Wednesday night in Pepsi Stadium.
North Greenville finished the game with 30 – shots against the Saints but were unable overcome an early deficit with the Saints jumping out to an 8 – 3 lead after one period. The lead ballooned to eight at halftime.
North Greenville's best offensive quarter came in the final frame with 13 – total shots resulting in three goals. The Crusaders also improved defensively holding the Saints to eight shots and just four goals, their lowest totals of the game.
Cole Zarola scored his second of the game in the fourth along with
Cam Webb.
