The North Greenville Crusaders and the Chowan Hawks ended today's matchup in a 1-1 draw this afternoon in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. NGU was able to get on the board in the first half with a goal by Isabella Gyurich and an assist by Marli Cevallos. However, the Hawks tied things up ten minutes into the second half with a goal. The Crusaders led both halves in shots, doubling Chowan's nine shots for a total of eighteen. However, the Hawks were able to prevent North Greenville from reclaiming the lead as the two teams would run out of time and end in a draw.

Isabella Gyurich ended her day with a goal and 3 shots on goal. Elainee Sprinkle recorded a total of 4 shots with 1 on goal. Marli Cevallos provided an assist.

NGU will return to action on Tuesday, October 17th against the Erskine Flying Fleet at Pepsi Stadium.
