North Greenville dropped an early-week conference contest to the Lions of Emmanuel College with a final score of 77-45 in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The Crusaders were outscored in every quarter, finishing with a .327 field goal percentage. NGU fell behind early, trailing by nine at the end of the first quarter. Both teams struggled from the field in the second quarter, but the Lions would add five points to their lead going into halftime. The third quarter would prove to be the most competitive of the game as the Crusaders would score fifteen points, just one short of Emmanuel's total in the quarter. However, the Crusaders would follow that up with their worst quarter of the game in which they were outscored 24-7.
