Tigerville, SC - The North Greenville Crusaders hold a winning record in conference play for the first time this season with a victory over the Tornado of King University with a final score of 78-70 this evening at Hayes Gymnasium. NGU once again posted an impressive day on the offensive side of the ball, posting a 53.3 field goal percentage including a percentage of 60% or better in two of the four quarters. The Crusaders outscored the Tornado in three of the four quarters and also dominated the day in blocked shots 11-2. Five of those blocks came from
Amareya Turner, who tied the single-game record, joining a multitude of former Crusaders including Amanda Milner, Paulette Addison, Bailey Breazeale, Elizabeth Trentham, and Karen Donehew.
