Bristol, TN – North Greenville Men's Golf finished eigth this week at the King Invitational, shooting a tournament total of 599 after two rounds of play.
The Crusaders finished day one with a 305 as a team but shaved off 11 – strokes in round two to shoot a team score of 294.
Brenden Tigert led North Greenville with total of 148. He shot a 78 in round one and finished with a 70 in round two. His score of 70 is the only round under par for the Crusaders during the tournament.
Karsten Shields put together a solid week for his first action of 2022, shooting a 76 and a 73 for a total of 149. Tigert finished 25
th while Shields finished in 29
th.
Bryce Honeck shot a 73 and an 80 for a total of 153 while
Trey Cauthen shot a 78 and improved two strokes for a 76 on day two.
Dylan Timms improved 14 – strokes from round one to round two, shooting an 89 in round one followed by a 75 in the second round.
