Murfreesboro, N.C. – Women's Tennis locked up another conference win on Friday with a 4 – 1 weather shortened match at Chowan. 
 
The Crusaders earned the doubles point with a 6 – 4 win by Naomi Sakakibara and Mitzy Enderink. Ashlen Chapman and Riley Gunter were credited with a forfeit win to clinch the point. 

 The first singles point also came as the result of a forfeit by Chowan to make the score 2 – 0 in favor of NGU. Larissa Berger tacked on a 6 – 2, 6 – 1 win while Riley Gunter earned a 6 – 0, 6 – 0 win for the fourth point. Matches with Enderink and Sakakibara were called due to rain. 
 
The Crusaders will be back in action on Saturday against Barton.
