Spartanburg – North Greenville dropped its first ever meeting with Converse College on Saturday, falling 6 – 1 to the Valkyries.
 
North Greenville was swept in doubles play by Converse. Lucas Cardoso and David Velasco lost 6 – 2, Tuur Vos and Kyle Praschan dropped a 6 – 4 decision while Santiago Alvarez and Anthony Cassini lost 6 – 1. 
 
In singles play, Vos earned the only win of the day for North Greenville with a 6 – 2, 7 – 5 victory. David Velasco came up just short in his match, falling in three sets, 3 – 6, 7 – 6, 4 – 6. 
 
North Greenville will head to Chowan next weekend.
